Our Story

Melissa and Rich met on one chilly night in Hoboken, NJ. She was acting as the wing-woman for one of her good friends (thanks Patricia!), and he was trying out some delicious Hoboken fare for Restaurant Week. They came together at the Wicked Wolf Tavern with some live rock-pop playing in that background, and the rest was history.

Since that fateful meeting they have had some amazing experiences around the country: the post-Irene rattled Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, multiple trips to Disney World (yea Epcot!), an exhilarating UF vs. LSU game in Gainesville, ziplining through the cold mist of Massachusetts, dramatic graduation ceremonies in Rhode Island, and a whole host of other delectable experiences.

After a year and a half, Rich proposed to Melissa in one of the most memorable proposals ever witnessed by all of mankind. After a fierce day-long scavenger hunt around northern NJ (with the help of Carly and manicures), Rich proposed to Melissa on the shores of the Hudson river against the lights of the New York skyline.

When they're not watching a cadre of their favorite TV shows (Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Rainbow Bright), you can bet Rich and Mel are out trying new adventurous restaurants or are planning their next trip to the land where dreams true (not Amsterdam!).

The Ceremony and Reception

The ceremony and reception will be held at the Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club in St. Petersburg, Florida. The ceremony will commence at 4:00pm, followed by cocktail hour at 4:30pm, and the reception from 5:30 - 9:30pm.
